Cancer: Hows its cured.

Some kinds of cancers have cure, yes. But the bad part is, most have no known cure at this time.

Like stated before, cancer is not a disease, it is a group/category of diseases.

Most cancers involve mutated cells, and at the current moment we have no way to 'renormalise' these cells. To only known way of curing cancer involves killing all the cancer cells inside a patient. There are some proposed therapies to 'cure' cancer, yet none have been clarified and many people are skeptical about these 'cures'.

Chemotherapy and Radiation therapy are the usual 'cures' - even though in some cases it isn't used to cure, only shrink.

Chemotherapy will kill cancer cells throughout your body, and if it can destroy all the cancer cells - it will cure people - but in most cases to kill all the cancer cells they'd have to give the patient too much chemo, which would also kill the patient.

Radiation therapy is different, if all the cancer cells have been located, then the radiation can be used to cure people. Although in most cases by the time the cancer has been detected, it has already spread too far, so they could not find all the cells. There is also the risk that the radiation used could create new cancer cells.

Surgery can also be used to remove the cancer cells. This could result in removing a part of an organ, or in severe cases, all of it. Like radiation therapy, if the cancer cells have been located then the surgery can be used to cure people. There are dangers though; one being that once this has been done, the cancer may have spread. As well as the risk of infections.

These are some cures of cancer, all are not known - and neither is the universal cure. That is our current race, and by the looks of things - we're falling behind. Cancer is wiping out the human race, we can cure some cancers, but it still kills thousands every year. We need to find the cure. The race is on.

Sorry for the short post.

Thanks for reading, Ben.
