Religion.

"Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind." - Albert Einstein

Religion. A very controversial topic.
Religion. A topic of ignorance, but also arrogance.
Religion. The new 'cool'.

I dont get why people say their atheist, most people who consider themselves atheist have never contemplated the existence of a God- but, if you have, I admire you.

People instantly say to themselves "Oh well, I can't see him - he ain't real." Which bugs me a lot. They instantly decide that God doesn't exist, because of; one assumption, a lack humility and a lot of arrogance. Think about it.

Me? Im an agnostic; still unsure- even though i've been questioning it for the past year, at least. I love the message Christianity portrays, and i'm open to that.  I like the belief that everyone is equal, loving your neighbour, etc. But like i've probably mentioned before, I cant succumb to their beliefs of a God. Im unsure to whether God exists at this moment in time.

Do you think God exists?

If your answer is no, think of a valid reason why. If you can be bothered, post a comment, or at least answer it to yourself.

There is nothing that rules out the existence of any type of God, we barely understand our own universe, dimension etc. We know nothing of higher beings, heaven and hell, and things of that nature.

"Its just a fat man who wrote a book full
of lies, to explain what was happening
back then as they had no technology."

Something i'm told very often, and the ignorance in this comment is amazing. Look at the Mayans, their technology. They worked out how to predict eclipses, build pyramids and other unworldly things. Aliens? Maybe. Technologic? Yes. We cannot say they had no technology, they certainly did back then, they had calendars - which shows they had a concept of time, space-time and their position around the Sun. Fascinating things. Fascinating people. Fascinating theories.

And for people who say "I believe in science, not religion. Im more intellectual." Then grow up. Albert Einstein was Jewish. He is possibly the most renown physicist to man. Physicists explain the how the universe works. If you say this, you most likely aren't a physicist, in fact you most likely disregard physics altogether. Physicists are actually more likely to be religious. You won't know any theories to do with physics. You've probably heard to The Big Bang, and then decided science explains everything.

Its just ignorant.

To conclude, have a think about God. The message religion portrays. Think about before The Big Bang, what caused it? What happened before it? Did time exist before it? Was there a Big Bang? These questions will drive you to think very philosophically, and very physicist like. Enjoy, try to have fun.

Thanks for reading, Ben.
